Darby Puckett
ABOUT ME
Darby Puckett is a New York based actress, model and filmmaker; originally from Virginia Beach, Virginia. She is an alumni of American Musical and Dramatic Academy, studying Musical Theatre.
Darby has booked a spot for Polaroid, a promo for Paramount Media, lead roles in several short films, and a supporting role in Season 11 of A Haunting. She wrote, directed, produced and starred in the web series Nonunion Girl. The web series is an official selection of NY Short Film Tuesdays, Austin Micro Short Film Festival, JSFF and New York World Film Festival. It won the award for Best Comedic Webisode at the American Filmatic Arts Awards. The series was nominated for Best Web Series at Astoria Film Festival in 2021.
She also directed the documentary short Compost Like a Pug (2021), about the composting organization Astoria Pug.
When she isn't acting in films, she's watching them! Darby is the shorts programmer for the Rooftop Films Summer Series.
